I have really been slacking on posting updates on my work. I do have a lot of screenshots of websites I’ve created along with some custom PC builds I’ll be adding to the portfolio section soon. So stay tuned!
Homepage jQuery Slideshow
Updating the jQuery Slideshow on my home page so it’ll look a little empty for a few days while I finalize the images. Before I was using images from my portfolio which is kind of redundant.
Migrating to New Servers
The past week I have been evaluating Media Temple’s (ve) server and have been nothing but impressed. So the first stage of migration is now complete which involves utilizing one (ve) server as a dedicated MySQL database server. All the websites I currently host have now been migrated.
The second stage I will purchase an additional (ve) server for hosting the actual websites. I will also be migrating all customers to Google Apps Gmail to keep system processes on these new server as minimal as possible; meaning faster website response to visitors.
Also, both stages will be transparent to end users.
Working for Sofent
Talking to my prior boss awhile ago he offered me a job for his company doing project management for customers based in the US. His company provides website design, web applications, iPhone and iPad applications, etc. So that is why things have slowed down on my site these days but going to pick up where I left off and finish updating it soon.
New Web Site Theme Live
I finally got around to getting the new website theme online but have more work to do to finalize it. Unfortunatelyl it’s getting rather late here (just hit 1AM) and I’m tired so the rest of the change over will have to wait until tomorrow.
